Compact plant bears white flowers striped with purple - short yellow stubby tails - easy grower and profuse bloomer makes spectacular display.

We've noticed a slight, pleasant, herbaceous fragrance while it's in flower; not enough to smell from a distance, but a pleasant surprise while watering and interacting.

The leaves are dark green, skinny, paddle-shaped and stay compact, only up to 5 inches (13 cm) at longest.

These plants likely came from Costa Rican or Panamanian parentage, but these were seed propagated in 2016 and divided since then.

We've been growing these in cool conditions during the winter and intermediate-warm during the summer in our greenhouse, ranging from winter ranges of 58 - 61 F (14 - 16 C) to summer ranges of 60 - 84 F (16 - 29 C), and doesn't seem to suffer at either extremes.

Good for windowsill or a small indoor greenhouse, make sure to water about once to twice per week depending on the humidity, allowing the mix to mostly dry out.
