Description
Intermediate - Net Potted - Colombia & Ecuador - Species - Mature
Blooms several times a year with a flush of flowers - blossoms are white with red tails held on short sub-erect spikes - very prolific.
Native to Colombia and Ecuador this Intermediate growing Dracula has stiff narrow green leaves often with dried leaf bracts at the base. This is one of the few Draculas that can be grown in a pot as all of the single flowered inflorescence grow straight up and with the flowers appearing around the edge of the substrate. As with all Draculas, good humidity is important. Let the plant get almost dry between watering, do not keep the media constantly wet. This will cause black leaf tips. These plants are planted in baskets like all the other Draculas but the basket can be dropped into a plastic pot, thus not disturbing the plant. -
