Found from the southeast Asian peninsula to Australia.
Warm to Intermediate let get almost dry between watering bright indirect light
Single narrow 4 inch sword like leaves atop narrow conical 1 inch pseudobulbs spaced 1 inch apart. Single flowers atop 6 inch stems are large and showy and resemble a wide open masdevallia. Wide spread ventral sepals are dark maroon edged in gold with white tips. Maroon dorsal sepal is edged in white fuzz. Best grown mounted or in small baskets to accommodate its slight wandering habit. Near blooming size plants in 3 inch baskets.
