Description
This compact species is from the states of Espirio Santo and Minas Gerais, Brazil, where they grow in humid forest and swampy areas usually low on trees.
The growths are 4 to 8" tall and produce 1 or 2 sometimes fragrant flowers per inflorescence. The flowers are usually 3 to 4".
Culture: Grow in moderate to moderately bright light. Rainfall is heavy during the growing season and in the winter months, rainfall is decreased but not stopped.
Plants should be allowed to dry between watering, even during the gr0wing season, but not kept dry for extended periods of time.
They can be grown potted with a medium that allows the roots to dry or mounted.
They do well with a cool winter and warm summer.
