Unusual color for this genus - bright red blossoms are borne on either side of flower stem - terete leaves are 10 to 12 inches - makes gorgeous specimen plant. Blooms in the spring with the new growths. Thin, grassy leaves grow from the tips of the pseudobulbs, becoming like an elegant ornamental grass with vibrant, red flowers.
