Bulbophyllum arfakianum

New Guinea

Found at low elevations in the Arfak Mountains of New Guinea. Plant has thick dark green 4 inch paddle shaped leaves atop four sided pseudobulbs. An easy grower with large elongated reptilian flowers. Flowers resemble a dinosaur head minus the teeth and have snakeskin pattern of brown and gold. Plants are easy to flower and when mature and can flower throughout the year.
