Description:
This compact large flowered species is native to the humid evergreen forest of the eastern coast and central mountains of Madagascar. This area has cool dryer winters.
A 2-4 inch plant with thick short strapped shaped leaves.
Flowers are 2 inches wide with a 5 inch spur which stays tightly coiled in the bud stage. Flowers open light green with a large bright white lip. A strong spicy fragrance is produced at sunset. Flowers last up to 3 weeks.
Intermediate temperature.
Medium bright light.
Allow the plants to get dry between watering but do not let it stay dry for too long.
Can be grown potted or mounted
